Start Up the Communicator

Insert the SIM-card, replace the battery and connect the charger.

Turn the communicator on and open the cover.
|

3.

Set
the time and date and enter your owner's information,
which will appear as sender's reference in your outgoing
communications. You are now ready to make your first call.

The following services require that the specific service is enabled for your GSM subscription. Check your status at the operator's helpdesk.
Your First Fax
A note or memo written in the Nokia 9210i Communicator can be sent off as a fax, and the Nokia 9210i Communicator is ready to send faxes right away.
Later you can load a graphics file of your company logo into the unit to make it appear at the header of your faxes.
Your First Short Message
The silent, quick way to communicate! The best way to ask and reply to quick questions! Press SMS and type your greeting, the address book will open up to provide you with the recipient's phone number.
Internet Real-time Information
Enter the phone number and configuration settings of your existing Internet subscription into the Nokia 9210i Communicator, and you're ready to go. The Communicator is at it's best when it comes to information services that change - maybe several times a day.
E-mail
Copy your corporate e-mail settings into the Communicator. When in the office use your normal system to archive mail and handle attachments. When on the road use the Nokia 9210i Communicator to stay on top of what's going on.

Contacts and Calendar Events
Names and numbers can be copied from the SIM-card into the communicator. Or install PC Suite for Nokia 9210i Communicator to your compatible PC and synchronize your contacts and calendar events with Lotus Notes Lotus
Organizer, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Schedule.
